Realise that the "in-your-face" types probably have hurts in their lives that make them that way-try to minister to thm 要知道那些使你難堪的人，可能是因為他們的生命中有創傷－你要試著去服事他們
Always be humbled by how much you have to learn;be a lifelong student-a continual work in progress. 總要謙卑，畢竟要學的東西還多得很，要一生做學生－學無止境
Don't buy everything right off the rack-customize it to your congregation 不要照單全收－要針對會眾的需要而度身訂造
Try to keep up with technology, but don't let it take over your life so that you neglect the person-to-person ministry 要善用科技，但不要完全仰賴科技，以致忽略了你所服事的是有血有肉的人
Minister- don't perform 牧養－不是表演
Your ministry depends on others- say"thankyou" a lot 你的事奉要倚靠別人－要常說”謝謝你”
Educate through ministry and minister through education 在事奉中學習，在學習中事奉
Don't cater to the world- it will lead you wrong everytime 不要迎合世俗－它總會帶你走錯路
Don't over-produce your music, We are sometimes so enthralled with wrapping musical packages that we fail to put anything in them. 勿太熱衷於創作音樂－我們有時太沉迷於音樂的包裝，竟忘了內容
Rather than feeling unappreciated by man, thrill at being used by God at all. 寧可因神居然會使用我而心神盪樣，不因人不欣賞我而心情沮喪
The process of making music to the best of your ability is more important than the product as judged by the world. The HEART is more important then the ART. 盡你所能去創作音樂的過程，比世人如何評價你的作品更重要；心靈比藝術更重要
